Read the project (in italian) Brochure: pdf in italian The local water system was not continuously supplying the school: for long periods it was not providing water because of damages or malfunctions of the system. In this context GSF started to be involved. For the realisation of the project it was built a structure that used the school roof’s surface to collect rainwater (the rains are abundant only in two periods of the year). The rainwater is conducted through pipelines and stocked in a tank having proper volume in order to provide, in addition to the local water system, continuously water supply to the school. The project beneficiaries are 625 primary school students and 264 of secondary school, teachers and non-teaching staff. |
